Don't worry about the bearings. I run 15x9 all around and race at the track, never had a bearing go out. It's just not a valid issue.
+38mm will look better and you will have no rubbing with a 15 x 6.5 size wheel. You should go 15x7, but that's up to you. MB is an economy wheel -- I haven't heard of an failing, but it might not last forever. You should email us and see if Jeff can match whatever deal you're getting.
