The "S" version is a pretty hard find! Good price and the sedan is a great car! Slap on a 100-160$ sway bar in the car at least and it will be more exciting to drive. The gearing is far better in the yaris than the xA. The yaris is geared more for highway use and more in line with the bigger cars.

Before I go through, I should say that the battery light on the car was on....the guy says he'd put in a new battery, but I wonder if this could be alternator failure.

I checked the carfax, and it has been in an accident. However, no airbag deployment, though so it probably was a slow-speed fender bender. And the accident was in 2009, so it's been awhile. Clear title, though.

However, whoever repaired it used the front bumper from the basic Yaris.

Hmmn. (The accident doesn't preturb me in the slightest)

Well...I don't know if I'd assume that....

My 2007 was totaled (passenger side rear quarter panel pretty much destroyed) and the air bags never deployed. I'm not saying that's a problem..I'm just saying don't assume :).

Carfax specifies where the damage was done (right front).

Alas, I'm not worried at all.

It has a clear title, and it drives just fine. It's probably just a fender-bender.
