There are a few people running stock head and motor at 10psi and that seems to be ok. I ran 8psi for about nine months with no apparent damage either.

Maybe more is ok, but I think the consensus is that 10psi is ok -- meaning no one knows just how long you can run it like that without at least some rods.

The stock rods are pencils!

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
