^ Nice install, and I like your mod.
As long as the bracket is firmly attached to the beam axle, there is no "correct" tension. If the bushing is installed so that the bar is just held firmly in place, it will perform its function, which is to allow movement but resist twisting. For example, the Ultra Racing bar, which works quite well, isn't attached to the axle at all. But, I'll say it again: I like your mod and it would be cool if they made it that way.
