Questions about compression testing
I want to do a compression test before buying a 2002 echo but don't know anything about echos. Hoping someone can answer some or all of my questions...
1) Looks like the spark plugs are hidden under a cover- is the cover tricky to get off? 2) What's the best way to disable spark and fuel? (fuses maybe? what are they labeled as?) 3) What's the best way to prop open the air intake valve? (On some vehicles you can do this without disconnecting the air intake tube- is this true on echos?) 4) What are the minimum acceptable compression values and deviation? |
