While you're checking the code out, I wonder if you can see if the flashing can be turned off during locking and unlocking activities. I would prefer not to have any signs at all.

Many thanks.

For the 2012's here are the "customize parameters" via TechStream:

Wireless Control - Function that turns wireless door lock / OFF or ON

Hazard Answer Back - When the doors are locked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash once.
When the doors are unlocked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash twice.

Unlock 2 Operation - Function that unlocks driver door when unlock switch on door control transmitter module set sub-assembly is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock.

Panic Function - Function to operate theft deterrent system by continuously pressing panic switch on door control transmitter module set sub-assembly for 0.8 seconds

Auto Lock Time - (30, 60, or 120 s) Function that regulates the interval between unlocking and automatic relocking of doors

Wireless Auto Lock - This function turns the wireless auto lock function on or off.

Referencing ctscotts post, in techstream customize menu, you would want the hazard answer back turned off.....

Thanks for the keyword "hazard answer back", I was able to search the relevant thread.

So I guess I've to visit my dealer to perform this change, and there is no DIY method available for the MY2012.
