It was a bad sequence of events.
Worn key, along with worn ignition lock No need to put blame on anyone. Nor get upset. All ended up well. Keep an eye on the lock, it might go next. The tumblers wear too. Enjoy your car!!

yea it really was, but luckily toyota gave us 3 brand new keys so now we get to enjoy it. hopefully this post will help someone else out in the future.
