If I was a crook, I could have claimed the throttle stuck and I hit a icy spot, totaling the truck. Probably would have got a new Tacoma +$$$'s from Toyota. Not my style.

Actually...Toyota would've pulled info on brake and throttle application from "The Box"...as they started doing soon after this whole debacle began. You made the right choice....being honest.
