Personally I prefer a contrast color with a white backdrop (white car)
I've had success ( I feel) with Bronze and Gunmetal I've never had silver or light colored wheels on a white car because I personally feel it leads to being a little bit washed out looking Here are my suggestions (for Polar white) (both on my car) (both happen to be very light for 16" with the Konigs being approx 14 Lbs? and the SSR's being 11 Lbs) ie gunmetal:   ie bronze:
