^ He didn't have a transaction with the plater, we did. There are numerous steps to this process, doing one piece at a time through all of them would make no sense at all. Instead, they run several pieces through each step. All the pieces in a batch are finished together.

Too many assumptions, tooter! ("can only mean..." for example)

That explains it, Garm.

It wasn't principals dealing directly with each other. It was a third party transaction. There was nothing 1.5 could have done because he had no actual contact with the platers.

It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
