Noise after having axle replaced
I recently had my right axle replaced from my local toyota dealership after I discovered that I have a torn boot and it was making the famous clicking noise when turning. After I got it replaced I have noticed that my car seems louder when driving. When I drive over newly paved roads its quieter.
I have checked my wheel bearings by doing the grab each side test and they seem to be fine. I have also jacked it up and turned my wheels and didnt hear anything. I thinking of doing the following and seeing if that helps 1) adding air in my tires 2) rotating them to see if that helps I have had the same stock hercules wrx (mrx?)plus 4 tires for 5 years now and im wondering if they just need to be changed. My tread if my tires or down but not worn down extrememly. What do you think could be the problem? |

tires
You suppose to rotate/check balance every 6-8k miles or they'll wear out uneaven and then make noises like that, especially the high warrenty tires 50k-60k mile tires.
