Thought my fuel pump might be making noise....
Lately, I have been hearing strange faint intermittent clicking sounds apparently coming from somewhere from the rear of the car when idling .
I thought it might be the fuel pump on its way out . However, today I discovered the real problem when doing some errands today that included going to Walmart. It was my Walmart chrome exhaust tip that I put on back in '09. The mounting brackets had completely rusted away . Since I was going to Walmart anyway, I got a new one....... problem solved.
