Just an update- I've lived with this mod for awhile now and love it. In all honesty it makes a great difference in the ride and handling- improving the weakest point of the Yaris by a good amount.
I am a moderate driver and almost always take it easy but the stability the bar offers really makes the car more pleasant to live with- not as a race mod for the likes of me. |

Why is sometimes when I turn the corner sharp my turns lag & my cars drifts on a side. I know it is the suspension, but will a rear sway bar help or lowering springs?

Someone said if you add a tow hitch on the back that helps with stability, is this true?

Seriously, it doesn't help with handling, but it does make a good place to jack up the rear of the car. racerb

FWD car doesn't oversteer. I added the TRD rear torsion bar and it reduced the body roll dramatically. I've done a track day with my stock Yaris with TRD bar, and the car is more balanced, less understeer. Definitely no oversteer.
