Actually Im getting the figure by saying there are six segments in the gas gauge. Each one worth .2 gallon. Ive gone 34 miles on one segment. So 5X34= 170 miles per gallon. (the last segment is worth almost .4 gallon) I havnt in truth filled the tank, run an ammount of miles, refilled the tank and done the math. Which the the only REAL way to do it. Im drunk on mpg power andd cant be trusted!
