the ccfl "ballast" from post 1 connects to the ccfl cord from the projector. you tap the red/black wires from the ccfl ballast to your parking lights to run the halos with your parking lights
the other plug goes into the wiring harness which was also in the box. it controls the flap inside the projector to open for your high beams make sense? edit, no splicing of the wiring harness included! the only thing you'll have to do is use the wire taps with the kit to tap into your parking lights to turn the halos on/off
