OK. The back-up light switch is located on the top of the tranny. You will need to move the battery out of the way to get at it.
To do a quick and easy test to see if it is actually the problem, you could jump the red wire in pin 3 of connector CA1 to a +12V power source. If the lights come on when you do that, then you know that either the back-up switch is bad or its connector is corroded. CA1 - MT Back-up Switch.jpg
