It does evaporate a bit over time, so that is likely why it is a bit low.
Toyota uses their own long life coolant, which is available pre-mixed at the parts department. Topping off the overflow container is not a bad idea. Also, while the car is cold, remove the radiator hose cap and verify that it is full as well.
