the body style was changed enough. having a 11" wiper blade on the passenger side did not do any justice.

still missing a TACH in the US base model!

Compare it to what we saw being debuted in Dec 2010. Nothing has changed. Where have you been the last 3 years?

I find the 5 door sedan Yaris, ugly. The hatchbacks are sporty looking, slick, depending on how you spice it up.

I find it cool. The audio system is too simple though. Toyota was never good in interior design. Honda is better in these parts of the car I think.

Gotta get the 3 Door COUPE! Buying our 2013 3 Door Coupe in April of 2013, realizing it had one front wiper ALSO! So does the other car in our garage, a 2000 C230 Kompressor - It has one wiper, also! The single wiper on the Benz is so powerful that it rocks the car on 'high' - What were the chances of purchasing 2 cars both with a single front wiper? It's Uncanny...! Thanks for posting the photos, I miss going to regular Auto Shows...last one was in DC about 5 or 6 years ago...

That is really too bad. There are plenty of sedans out there that are just as sporty looking, slick, etc.

I get all kinds of compliments on mine all the time.

thanks for the photos August. personally the interior from what you have captured really makes me wanna puke. there is literally 0 life to it. the dash assembly especially screams "fleet". no wonder so many people are calling Toyota boring. WTF is wrong with them?

And they are realizing that GM and VW are now knocking on theor doorstep even more than they have in a half decade. Practicality does not have to equal boring. They are starting to figure this out. That is why they are looking for a fresh new take on design and options. This is why they are looking to actually produce a Supra replacement especially with the response to the FR-S. The bottom line is that interior in the car that is shown by the OP is something that you could expect from any manufacturer 20 years ago however it should not be what you should expect to see in 2014. if you needed any better proof of that then all you need to do is take a look at the 2007-2012 Yaris. the interior in that even look more refined then this one.

Toyota will never make exciting interiors. its all about pleasing the masses....ie making them look bland enough so as not to offend anyone. personally I thought the interior of the 2nd gen yaris was drastically more boring and cheap looking because all you look at when you enter the car is an expanse of black plastic in front of you. it was the most unwelcoming interior I have ever had in a car. the current interior is exactly what I wanted in a cheap reliable hatchback. clean. simple. analog gauges where they belong.

the bread and butter for Toyota has always has been, and will continue to be, building reliable, efficient cars that appeal to the masses.

no problem.I totally agree with you on the interior. So boring! one of the reasons I like my 08 are the extra storage bins in the dash.I was sad to see those gone.

There's a Yaris SE at the Portland International Auto Show. I saw it there yesterday.

The only type of Yaris at the Houston Auto Show in January of 2013 -- the SE. In January of 2014 --- of course --- zero.
