It will.

But dont be afraid to fix it if things break. Best person to do that is YOU! With help from YW.

Or find a good mechanic you trust.

There is always something good (oils that meet spec.'s & a new filter) on sale that will satisfy the needs of this car & engine. It is important that the car gets an oil & filter change on a regular basis.
Gosh only knows how many cars are driving around out there that have tens of thousands of miles on 1 oil change.
I know my 1NZ-FE is going to be glad it found my garage 10 or 20 years from now,

My neighbor has a 2000 odd Taurus which I believe has 88,000 miles on it and ONE fill of oil its entire life! He does keep the level up religiously.

He believes oil changes are being forced through mind control by the dealers and repair shops by special radio waves we cannot hear or feel.

Interesting fellow, my neighbor.

Ah, Yeah.......

...Glad he's YOUR neighbor...
UM, all I can say is WTF?
My old saying...'We're all nuts, just some more than others'

I know, that's just plain stupid. It's not like a car can filter out the impurities, then excuse itself & use the little Yaris' Room and get rid of them and flush...
I'm not a genius (pretty close...) but have pretty good common sense (99% of the time ) but c'mon, do SOME KINDA UPKEEP on that investment....... Thank you, Thank you

That is hilarious. What is that old saying....The truth is stranger than fiction. When I tell people that in the 70s my friend's stepfather did the same thing (EXCEPT that at that point he was between 160,000 and 170,000 miles on a big mid-1960s Chrysler...he felt that it was just repair places trying to drum up business, rather than needed maintenance), people don't believe me! I lost touch with my friend while his stepdad still had the car, so I don't know the story of the car beyond that point.
