On this same subject, I often leave my car for 4-6 days between being away for work (airport parking lot etc), and I've twice noticed that after starting and beginning to drive, the red battery symbol warning light is on for the first few minutes, sometimes very dim and barely illuminated.
I assume this indicates a low voltage. So... standby drain too high? bad alternator, not strong enough to recharge it? bad battery? (about 3-4 years old, replaced). |
