My 1974 VW Beetle went over 250,000 miles before it was scrapped. (floor pan rusted out too bad to weld) 1980 Subaru Hatchback 98,000 miles and sold in perfect working order. Needed bigger car. 1988 VW Fox 101,000 miles and sold because I couldn't get it to start. Found out it was a bad fuel pump reply. 1988 Fox Wagon 300,000 miles before scrapped. (this was Dads car i maintained and sold to the neighbor after he died. Neighbor drove it until just a few years ago.) 1979 MB 240D sold with 153,000k miles only because I couldn't work on it any more. 1992 Honda Accord Station Wagon 150,000 miles when it was stolen. 1992 Saturn SL1 150,000 miles transmission shot. 1992 Toyota Camry 160,000 miles when rear ended and totled. 2000 Toyota ECHO ~200k miles sold in working order and currently living in Costa Rica. 2005 Camry currently 114,000 miles and counting.

Some of these were my cars, some the wifes cars and some the kids cars.

Also, 153,000 miles on a 1975 BMW R90/6 motorcycle sold in running condition. 1992 Honda ST1100 motorcycle 109,000 miles ran like new when sold.
