Your picture of the error light doesn't display, but you can read the error code(s) of the VSC using a jumper between two pins on the OBDII connector.

Jump the two pins with the ignition off.

Switch the ignition to ON and watch the ABS and SLIP lights.

If there are no stored codes the lights with flash in a constant .25 sec on/off pattern. If there are stored codes they will be shown as a group of long flashed follows by a 1.5 second pause followed by a second group of long flashes. After all codes are shown there will be a 4 second pause and then they will repeat.
