Thanks! Then I'll probably do 3,500 and then again at 10,000. My blue Yaris (with only 20 oil changes, IIRC) has finally started to burn oil. From roughly 274k to 288k it burned 2 1/2 quarts

Some of those miles included parts of two days on I-5/CA-58/I-15/I-40/US-93/I-10 in California on two of the hottest days ever recorded for those month/numerical date combinations....and then driving through AZ, NM, and TX from El Paso through DFW to Tyler. I added 2 quarts, and then from roughly 288k to 292k, the 2007 only burned 1/4 of a quart.
