Hmm...gives me ideas re my 2007. Does your Yaris have the same head unit as the 2007 USDM Yaris ?

I am referring to any car player in general. My iPod was tested on a 2013 civic, 2010 rondo, 2014 santafe, and my 2012 JVC HU. None worked. So I concluded that my iPod 20gb was way too old to work in any recent iPod capable radios |

My OP = re 3rd Gen experiences, but noticing that you have a 2nd Gen (and that you mentioned the Nano works), I was wondering if you have the same head unit in your 2007 that I have in my 2007. Is the 2012 JVC HU in your Yaris ?
