However, if I were in the market, I'd have to go to California or Colorado to get an manual SE. I'd also then have to pay out-of-state sales tax (Oregon does not have any sales tax). There are lots of great subcompacts on the market: Mazda2, Ford Fiesta, Chevy Sonic, MINI Cooper, Fiat 500, Honda Fit—all of which I can fairly easily get with a stick shift. While I really like the 2012-2014 Yaris SE, I don't know if I'd automatically buy another Yaris at this point.
