LOL, thicker oil does have some negative side effects: Engine life can be reduced if it is significantly too thick, and your mileage will decrease.
Kitt: You want 5w30 conventional (mineral) oil. Don't switch to synthetic 5w20, the problem will get worse (for as long as you're using it, it won't *damage* anything, though). |
