I think the Fiestas look awesome, but I've heard too much s*it about them that I would never, ever consider one.

If I could own a Fiesta ST for the first 20k miles on the odometer and then be guaranteed that someone would buy it from me for the same amount I paid, then yes.....otherwise, no .

Love my yaris, I beat the ever living shit out of it and its been the most reliable thing in my life since I got it. I tell people its my punching bag because I drive it hard. Its a pizza delivery vehicle on the weekdays and auto x hs class slayer on the weekends. Its starts every time and has had no issues that I didn't directly cause. So far only parts broke are a significant amount of body damage, 2 steel rims, and a few lug nuts. I may beat on it but it always walks away each time i bash it into a curb or run it into a fence.

First impression for most people who ask what I own is, you drive one of those things?!?!?! What were you thinking?!?!?!

My response is its a Toyota thing you wouldn't understand

Love this!!!!

Its very similar to my situation. My Yaris is my favorite of what I've got. I drive a nicely modded 2013 Civic Si / a pristine ultra-low mileage Integra Type R (1 owner before me) and a pristine ultra-low mileage Toyota Mr2 spyder (1 owner before me). and yet, for sheer.......... grin on my face / happy motoring I'd pick the Yaris time after time.

When people hear that the Yaris is the last car I would give up, they are usually aghast at the thought that if I could only keep 1 car it would be the Yaris.

none of my friends get it (even the so called car guys).

And like you, my Yaris has had some very hard driving and yet never ever even once has it come close to complaining about it (its always more than willing to try and do everything I ask of it)

I can't wait to drive it again (damn salty roads)

Will

This is how I like my Yaris : all weather beater!

For those who are from the southern regions, here's why some people don't want to drive their car in winter :

Here's some fun photos Id like to share of my yaris on a long dirt path through a mountain pass near salt lake. These are from two different trips on the same trail. This trail was one of the roads used by the pilgrims who came to the salt lake valley on carriages

These first two are two views from up and down the hill that I climbed down after taking these photos ;D
