thanks for the responses guys. I took a look at CanadianTire today and the only 30mm socket they have was a 6 point. Is a 6 point adequate for a 12 point nut, or does it increase the slippage and potential to strip? If a 12 point is highly recommended then I'll keep looking for one.
My second Q is can you just use an impact gun to remove the nut without having the pop out the indented part? |
