That plug luoks real good for one with to many miles. Like Synthetic oil, it works real good till it causes a failure. Those plugs had a squared off electrode when new. Now the electrode is rounded. Metal ionizes off the electrode effectively reducing it's spark and eventually increasing gap. It will still work fine but working and working better than something else are different. When racing I found that all plugs work quite good when new. Most plugs are screwed up by 500-1000 miles of sheety city gas and air. Proven by running 500 mile plugs at the races. Change to something new and you can actually see your time go down...
