I'm now attempting to build my own custom circuit.
Looking through the service manual, I managed to find this nice logic diagram: ![]() If I'm looking at this right, all I need to do is build a timer circuit that connects wire L (blue wire) to ground wire W-B (white wire with black stripe) for a short enough time (0.7 sec according to the OP) that allows the wiper motor to close the contactor in the wiper motor assembly via the eccentric cam lobe. Once that happens, the wiper should return to its original position by itself and remain there until the circuit is once again closed by the connection of the L and W-B wires. Something else to take under consideration, the circuit itself must be able to withstand a transient current that is above the fuse rating. (15A) I'll start working on this project in the next few days.
