funny parking ticket

This was pretty good so I thought I'd share. I did the toyota program where you can get a badge of your car's name, debadged the back, and put on it's name 'Javi'. This is the parking ticket I got

You could probably beat that ticket if you go to court. As there is no such thing as a Toyota Javi, the ticket should be declared void. I have beaten tickets due to errors on them in the past. Sometimes even a simple misspelling on the ticket will result in a dismissal. This is in NY, don't know much about other jurisdictions.

That is right. You can change your decal back to Yaris and then challenge the ticket and not pay anything. :)

I removed the Yaris part off mine. When I get a parking ticket, they would write IND or just write nothing under the model name.

Sorry, but it's not. In Texas all the citation has to have on it is the license plate of the offending vehicle. The description is simply additional information for the court to use in case it is contested.

Some people also believe they can leave while the citation is being written and they get away scot-free. Also false. All we need to do is get the license plate number and a citation can be issued and sent to the owner. You don't have to be 'present to win,' even if they owner wasn't the one illegally parking they are still responsible for the vehicle.
