I'm really surprised they would state that. Yes, the chances of it happening are terribly small, but anyone with common sense knows that's an absurd amount to be burning. You're car would be puffing smoke like crazy at that rate (I know, I drove an S-10 Blazer that burned through a quart a month, and I could fog an intersection). For Toyota to claim that's "within spec" is moronic.
