Hmm...I might need to look at getting new wheels, rolling the fenders, something...it's not that bad, but it bugs me a little...

It's probably just because you're on 17s. Fender rolling would definitely help too of course. When I had Tein S Techs I had 15x7 +31 offset (Because of my 10mm spacers) And they never rubbed even with passengers haha. My exhaust did. I had a Tanabe Medalion at the time but I decided to sell it cause it hung way too low and I wanted to get my coilovers and wheels instead.

The thing is, the official wheel and tire guide thread says that 205/40/17 is a commonly used size for lowering. I've also seen other posts from members running the same wheel size and springs, asked them about rubbing and they claim they get none. Some have asked me what my offset is, but I don't know what it is. As far as you know, can offset make the difference between rubbing and no rubbing on the same wheel size?

Ahhh I see! Yes man offset could definitely be the reason why you're rubbing.

Well, shit lol. Thanks, Now I can think about rolling fenders, or just getting new wheels since mine have some battles scars on them anyway.

Haha no problem! Definitely roll the fenders regardless if you can. You'll be fine with around 30 offset. If you want to go flush just add some camber and you'll be fine. I had to roll, pull, and flare my rears to fit +10 offset. So it really comes down to what look you're trying to go for. Let me know that, and I will help you as much as I can haha. Here are my two wheel set ups:

Top:
15x7 +31 (with the 10mm hub spacers, no negative camber) Enkei RPF1 (Really wish I kept those)
Bottom
16x8.5 +10 (because of 10mm hub spacers, 5mm wheels spacers, and -3 camber) JNC 004

Thanks. Not going for the flush look, just like the look of 17's on the 2" drop, but don't want any rub. I like that almost stock look. Like it came from the factory like that. Don't like the tires rubbing when I hit dips or go over uneven spots on the fwy.
