one thing i now understand about adjusting screws on 1zz throttle body.
the outside screw (the one that needs chipped away) is for adjusting COLD IDLE STOP!
i kept trying to adjust screw after warm up. it does not adjust anything after the engine has warmed up! it needs to be adjusted 30 seconds after start up, but not more than 2 minutes or so. (depending on outside temperatures)

to adjust warm idle, the screw for that is located INSIDE the TB. it took me a week to get this figured out.
if you adjust the screw too far out, it will go into limp mode! (cold idle screw) you will have to clear code and tighten screw a turn and try again. (i did not adjust warm idle screw on the inside)

I've got it running pretty good now. i noticed my gas millage increased 2.75mpg in the last week after installation.... ha!
