Trouble in locating "Tach Wire"
Please assist into locating Tech Wire.
I am installing remote starter on my Yaris 2015. Cross wiring chart says, "wire (RDA); connector (D143 White 30); pin 16; wire color (Pink); polarity (DATA); located at (Body ECU next to dash fuse box)" Is this called Tach as well or something else. Remote error code is referring to "Tach sensing issue". Thanks. |

It's a black wire on the OBD connector. I forget if there's more than one but I think its in the middle somewhere.

Tachometer OBDII multimeter frequency revolutions per minute RPM
There's threads and pictures here showing the RPM input on one of the 4 end sockets of the 2-row OBDII connector. #9? I'm getting good two pulse/rev input there for the frequency setting on a multimeter tucked standing up into the little pull-bin next to the drivers window...multiply by 30 for RPM.
