The Quaife has a bigger torque biaising compared to the Torsen and is lifetime guaranted.
I would not recommend an helical diff to improve the traction on snow or dirt because it multiplies the torque that the wheel with less traction is able to send to the ground and then send it to the wheel with better traction. 0 x 500Nm = 0Nm
The helical diffs are only better on tarmac compared to disc type lsd
