I took a piece of 90 degree copper tubing and plugged the coolant lines together around the corner of the head by-passing the throttle body. you would need to replace the hoses, at least 1, with aftermarket tubing. if you want to use stock air box /w accordion rubber duct, I've read that you can turn the tube around 180 degrees and it fits on 1zz. I have not tested. I have a injen CAI.

I think you can do without the coolant lines on the TB in Thailand. :wink
You can probably leave them in loop.
Cooland flows there to prevent icing and sticking of the throtle plate with frozen condensation vapors.. not a case in your part of the world I think :)
