I'd be interested to know which subcompact econo box a/t are faster than their m/t counterpart?
In more expensive vehicles with dual clutches etc the a/t will generally be faster due to shifting time. In econo boxes that will rarely be the case. I've driven a fair share of econo subcompacts and the a/t always feels softer than the m/t versions
