Once you put the right amount of air into the tube, the TPMS will still read the correct tire pressure, but it'll be from the tube. Then you throw it someplace in the truck and the system will be tricked into thinking the the sensors are in the tire. You can swap wheels and tires to your hearts desire at that point. It's just another work around, if someone chooses to do it that way.
