For the same reason, I'm probably not going to install the exhaust tip I just bought from Kimona. Didn't realize it had baffling that changes the sound until it was too late.

BTW, the original tailpipe extends almost to the very end of the exhaust tip. So, if you don't cut the tailpipe back, there will be no perceptible change in exhaust tone; it will simply be a cosmetic mod. Try it, you'll like it.
