Afaik there should be two connectors, one powers the compressor (two wires, green-ish and I think blackwhite-ish the other) and another connector sends out rectangle signals to the ECU indicating that the compressor is up and running. Ideally should be checked with oscilloscope to get precise readings. But if the AC produces cool air then the ECU assumes the compressor is OK so the signals must be there I guess.
Few years ago, my AC system has been overfilled with refrigerant (it was done by official Toyota service center!) - instead of 360g of freon they pushed in 460g. It may be worth checking on your side as well - whether the AC is all good. I had to go to an independent car shop that specializes on AC only. |
