kinda dont really understand this car. who really asked for this. it was cool at first now it just looks like a Chinese version of a fiesta, no turbo no AWD. no 20 something year old in this day and age will buy a manual version. overly complex engine with a heavy weight and still barely enough power to be driveable.

Ralley car? The yaris the WRC ralley car. no. no. no.

I bet this car outsells the Yaris liftback at least 4:1 in 2019. That is assuming they even continue to sell the Yaris liftback here (I see Toyota.com still doesn't list a 2019).

Looks are subjective, or course. Turbo and AWD? Why would it have that? It's not meant to compete against the WRX or now-gone Focus RS (despite it being painted a similar hue). And no one will buy the manual, eh? Then why do they offer it? I, for one, only buy manual transmission cars.

Overly heavy? It's 3,000 lbs.! Barely enough power to be derivable? I suggest going and driving one before making that assumption.
