The Yaris is generally a very reliable vehicle. I wouldn't worry about that, so long as this particular car was taken care of, not previously wrecked and in general good condition. And at 75K miles it has much more life ahead of it. Having said that $6000 seems high to me. I would think you could find one for cheaper but I haven't actually priced any recently.
