Ever consider a recumbent bicycle?
I got injured 20+ years ago, when a SUV driver crossed double yellow lines to turn into my path while I was at the head of the pack of dozen of cyclists traveling 20+ mph.
I was out of commission for over 4 months, still have a nice dent in my head 'til this day.
I got a used recumbent for under $500 and off I went riding again.
No strain on nrck, shoulders, arms nor wrists, I was pedaling more to regain my stamina, core & leg strengths. Eventually, I got back enough physical condition to ride regular bicycles & motorcycles.
Some recumbent are trikes, two wheels in front and steers like a go-cart.
With electric assist, recumbents can get around pretty quick.

My father taught me to work on bikes & motorcycles nearly 40 years ago.
As a teen, I pedaled across the NA Continent with 9 other teens and two leaders at the YMCA. From Seattle, WA to Ocean City, MD.
10 weeks of camping and cooking your own food across the real America at 15 mph.
I got to experience this country intimately with my Huffy 10-speed.
Now that I have the means and experience with different motorcycles, I want to re-do the same trip on a motorcycle.
My dream ride would be on my vintage 125cc Honda to Alaska & Arctic Circle (Prudhoe Bay) and back. It will be slow, it will be boring, but I will enjoy most of it in the wilderness.

Started riding minibikes as a young teen.

I have seen too many friends killed or badly injured by drivers who "didn't see" them to consider riding on the road. I still have a Honda TLR 200 that I use for hunting. It is very quiet, and doesn't scare game away.
