I had a similar setup with my '09 Yaris and ended up using the Insta360 X4 for cars mounted on the dash. The wide field of view gives full coverage, even the sides of the car, and the video is super clear day or night. Plus, it's easy to pull footage straight to your phone if anything ever happens on the road.
