No Sound From Speakers

I’m needing help with my stereo. I had a factory head unit that would turn on and everything seemed to function. But there was no volume. I wanted CarPlay and a backup camera anyway, so I got a new Bose 7” unit. The install went just fine and I turned it on for the first time…. No sound from the speakers again. I soldered all the wires on my bench and they all good and hooked up correctly. I looked up under the dash and don’t see anything obvious dangling down. The speakers aren’t on their own fuse. I’m fairly stumped.

- If one speaker is out, will none work?

- Is there a spot under the dash where the speakers all connect to besides at the back of the stereo? The vehicle has an aftermarket cruise control and I’m wondering if they messed with the speaker wiring when they installed it. All the wiring for it seems to be above the fuse panel at the driver’s side dash.

- Does anyone make a trim kit for the sides and top of the aftermarket head units? Or are people just making their own?

I have no comment about speakers.

I was able to figure it out over the weekend. It looks like the previous owner started getting poor sound quality out of the speakers so he disconnected the cables way up inside the door panels where I couldn’t see them. Four new speakers later and it sounds good.
