Sexy Rear End

Just got back from the dealership. The spoiler they were throwing in when I bought it came in....ain't it sexy!? I was really surprised it was this spoiler. I was thinking it would be some small looking lip type of spoiler....

Man that thing makes some serious shade. On a hot sunny day you can sit your lawn chairs back there and have some iced tea.

exhaust is comming off.... not happy with the look... it came from ebay... it is custom bent 2 inch from the cat back.... it going to be redone iwth 2.25 from the header back with 2 resinators (no cats) a flowmaster 40 series and carbon fibor tips center mounted (to keep with my black theme)

Here's my $.02 after rallying the crap out of my Yaris this weekend in the East Bay Hills... this is my "Hit List" of simple fun mods:

-Weapon R (or Chino, Fujita, etc) Cold Air Intake- $215 Approx
-TEIN or Wtanabe Lowering springs- $159-200 Approx
-Wheels and Tires (Vary, look for Closeouts on Tire Rack) $800-2000
-Lightened Pulley (ZPI or others) $85 - $120
-Cat back exhaust (ZPI)- $199.00 SPECIAL http://www.zeropointracing.net

You will have looks, more zip, great sound and be a happy dude!! That spoiler looks pretty outrageous (in a good way, I have the little lip on mine, because I like understated).

If you are serious about AutoX or track days, go coil-overs. They perform much better when hot and have a wide range of adjustment. Or, if you like really hitting the NC twisites.

Does the spoiler have a break light going across the top?

springs are always cheaper than coilovers and are usually less stiff. coilovers are pricey, but offer adjustability for dampening (some companies) and ride height. they are usually stiffer than springs.

the Tein S.Tech springs are one of the more expensive springs out, but are more stiffer than Tanabe springs. if you don't want to spend a lot, then go with Tanabe. if you have at least 70 bucks more, go with Tein. i'm pretty sure either way you go, you'll be happy.

now if you were to get struts/shocks and springs, i'd save up a couple more Benjamin's and get a set of coilovers.
