Scion xD Update: C&D First Drive

They're guessing the price will start around $13.5k... I might actually look into one for that price. The interior kicks ASS. ~YR

That is one dorky looking car. It looks like something from Renault in the 70's, only twice as heavy and twice as expensive.

Yikes, I hope a different color will make that car a tad more digestible.

Ummm. hmm. I never thought I'd say this, but... that makes the new XB look good.

Yeah, it's truly an odd looking car. I like everything but the gaping holes in the front. Since it's Scion, there will without a doubt be a buttload of body kits for it, so maybe someone will come up with something that's a bit less gag reflex-inducing.
![]() Like I said before, I love the interior, and I'm a big fan of the Toyota 1.8l's... small enough to give good mileage, but still plenty peppy enough to have some good fun. ~YR

My personal favorite Yota power plant has been the 2RZ. They have always worked well in my Tacomas and I would be curious to see how they would perform in the Yaris.
