Call me crazy, but i've had the twm shifter for about a year and it's starting to lose the short feel. Initially it was the best mod i'd done but now I've gotten used to it and it feels like stock to me now. Would it be too extreme to add this part also? Also, does this kit tighten up some of the slop in the linkage?

This piece will work very well if the Canadian-Market Yaris is equipped with the 1.5Liter 1NZ.

I'm assuming this is the part I've been waiting for... right Chino? $60 would have hooked it up a little better but... still cheaper than TRD. I'm in.

TWM's short shifter is a replacement of the stick itself. It shortens that piece which in turn shortens the amount of travel required to sink into gear. The NST SSK modifies the linkage in the engine bay to achieve the same effect the TWM kit achieves without actually changing the height of the shifter itself. You can install the NST kit over top of the TWM to make a throw rougly 50-60% shorter than stock, but that route isn't for the faint of heart. It is how I tested the kit, though, and I will say I was getting into gear as fast as I ever have experienced in a manual car with a stock transmission. It was a lot of fun. I have no problems running that setup in my daily driver.

two points. If it is in the engine bay will it be visable? If not why not get one colour (grey to speed up production). Since more will the price come down?

#2 The machine work will take much more time then anodizing favorite color.
