Good for you! The reviews on that thing are pretty positive.

For the longest time I thought I was gonna get it too, but now my heart is set on another ;)

I went to Tmo to see what they look like in person and they don't have them out yet, not even a little demo unit, if you can believe that. They said they're gonna have them for display in a couple of weeks. They will throw the phone a party just like they did last year when they launched the MT3G. (Last year they really went overboard with the advertising, even had guys jumping with colored parachutes over the financial district, SF)

Probably because its not out on display yet. Meanwhile, sprint is getting slammed (people can't activate their evo 's right now due to high demand.

yeah, that EVO is f'n impressive.

I read somewhere that the N1 was faster but I don't think that's true (at least not on stock Android 2.1 Eclair) The (stock) EVO just flies.

@ tomato: I saw my friends HTC Evo..the screen is insanely BIG!!! Very light. Only complaint from him is...battery life and the mandatory 4G connection fee. So w/ my discount the monthly price would come around to...$66 roughly, not bad.

Now lets see if they can support asian characters on it...once i see korean or mandarin characters...japanese will soon become a possiblity on it. Good find, theres hope for me. Thank you.

ATT just put a cap on new users for data plan..2 gigs i believe..so iPhone is out for me. Screw them...

I keep seeing more and more info on the motorola shawdow on androidcentral.com and I want!! Froyo can't come for the moto droid fast enough glad to see there is a few android nuts on here as well!

Garm, wait till they have a promotion going for the phone for new and current users. Verizon had this smartphone deal going when the Moto Droid first came out. I hope Sprint/Verizon also do the same for its customers...i have about another year left till i get only a price reduction on my next phone~~

It's either one or two years for the full discount for existing customers, you're probably not eligible if you bought a phone within the last year. It's the same with every other carrier in the US. Call up and say you're going to cancel, that might work?-

It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
